当变压器内部发生故障，油箱内部产生大量可燃气体，引起气体继电器动作，发出重瓦斯信号，断路器跳闸；变压器内部故障同时导致油温升高，布置在变压器上的温感火灾探测器动作，向消防控制柜发出火警信号。消防控制中心接到火警信号、重瓦斯信号、断路器跳闸信号后，启动排油注氮系统，排油泄压，防止变压器爆炸；同时，储油柜下面的断流阀自动关闭，切断储油柜向变压器油箱供油，变压器油箱油位降低。一定延时后（一般为3s至20s），氮气释放阀开启，氮气通过注氮管从变压器箱体底部注入，搅拌冷却变压器油并隔离空气，达到防火灭火的目的。

After a certain delay (usually 3S to 20s), the nitrogen release valve is opened, nitrogen is injected through the bottom of the transformer box through the nitrogen injection pipe, stirring the transformer oil and isolating the air, so as to achieve the purpose of fire and fire extinguishing.
